Bookkeeper Central Coast for Small Business Owners
Xero bookkeeping, payroll, and BAS-ready records, overseen by a registered tax agent based in Umina Beach.
Proactive Bookkeeping Support For Central Coast Business Owners
Running a business demands your full attention during the day but managing the finances shouldn’t consume your evenings and weekends. Balancing receipts, chasing unpaid invoices and worrying about Single Touch Payroll (STP) compliance takes valuable energy away from growth and operations.
At Coleman Financial Group, we provide expert accounting services that take over the daily financial heavy lifting. Having a dedicated bookkeeper in Central Coast ensures your data is clean, tax time is effortless and your business decisions are driven by clear financial visibility.
Accurate. Current. Local.
Records that are only correct in July tell you nothing useful in November, and by then the decisions have already been made. We keep your file reconciled month by month, so the numbers you use to make decisions are the same numbers we lodge on.
- Built for local businesses: We deliver tailored financial systems for Central Coast tradies, retailers and professional service firms.
- Flawless compliance: Our team stays ahead of strict ATO reporting requirements, STP Phase 2 updates and complex superannuation changes so you remain penalty-free.
- A relationship you can rely on: Enjoy dedicated local support, meaning you are never left waiting for urgent answers regarding your daily cash flow.
We Help Central Coast Business Owners Stay on Top of Their Numbers
Bookkeeping is not a single task. It is a set of related processes that only hold up when each one is kept current. The following services make up the scope of our monthly bookkeeping support.
Cloud Bookkeeping
Your file is run in Xero, with Hubdoc capturing and coding receipts, so transactions are recorded accurately and paperwork is processed without delay.
Bank Reconciliations
Every business account is reconciled in Xero each month, keeping balances accurate and your records prepared well ahead of each BAS deadline.
Payroll and Superannuation
Employees and the ATO receive the correct amounts on schedule, with pay runs, superannuation payments, and Single Touch Payroll reporting managed in full.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
Outstanding invoices and supplier payments are tracked through the month, giving you a clear view of working capital before new commitments are made.
BAS-Ready Records
GST coding stays accurate across the quarter, so your business activity statement is prepared from reliable figures rather than reconstructed at the deadline.
Workers Compensation Declarations
Your policy reflects the remuneration your business has actually paid, with declarations and actual wages reporting prepared on your behalf.
Clean Books Give You a Clearer View of Your Business
Once your ledger is current, it transforms into a powerful business tool. You can clearly see which projects actually generate profit, spot software subscriptions quietly renewing and know your exact GST position long before the quarter closes.
With the right bookkeeper in Central Coast managing your daily ledger, you no longer have to spend your weekends buried in receipts or worrying about strict compliance deadlines. We remove the heavy burden of financial tracking so you can direct all your energy toward growing your business, supporting your staff and delivering exceptional service to your clients. Partner with us to keep your accounts accurate, compliant and ready for tax time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Bookkeeping is generally priced on transaction volume and payroll headcount, not an hourly rate. At Coleman Financial Group, bookkeeping sits inside our fixed monthly packages, which start at $500 plus GST and include your Xero subscription, receipt coding through Hubdoc, reconciliations, payroll, superannuation processing, and BAS lodgement.
A bookkeeper records and reconciles your day-to-day transactions: bank feeds, invoices, receipts, and payroll. An accountant works from those records to prepare financial statements, lodge tax returns, and advise on structure and planning. At Coleman Financial Group both sit under one roof, so the same file carries through to lodgement.
You can lodge your own BAS. If you pay someone else to prepare or lodge it, they must be registered with the Tax Practitioners Board as a BAS agent or tax agent. At Coleman Financial Group, this work is overseen by Darcy Coleman, our Registered Tax Agent and Principal.
We work primarily in Xero, paired with Hubdoc for automated receipt capture and coding. If you are on another platform or running spreadsheets, we can walk you through what moving to Xero would involve before you commit.
Not necessarily. We are highly experienced in working across all major cloud accounting platforms including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks. If your current software works well for your business, we will simply optimise your existing setup to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
Our office is at 1/234 West Street, Umina Beach NSW 2257, and you can reach us on (02) 4344 7114. We work with businesses across Gosford, Woy Woy, Erina, Terrigal, and the wider Central Coast, and our cloud systems let us support clients elsewhere in Australia.
